A highly mobile, interactive exhibit that explains why microchips were designed and engineered, and the roles they play in electronic technology.

The modular museum is based on a series of interpretive banners on the history of electrotechnology developed for IEEE Societies but available to all.

Consumer Electronics Show 2024
History Center staff worked in partnership with the IEEE Corporate Communications and Brand Marketing team to create historical exhibits for the IEEE Technology Innovation Exploration pavilion at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, held in January 2024. CNN called CES “the largest tech conference of the year” with an official attendance of 135,000.

IEEE Medal of Honor Wall of Fame
At the IEEE VICs Summit and Awards Ceremony in May 2024, in partnership with IEEE Awards we unveiled the IEEE Medal of Honor Wall of Fame. It will become a permanent fixture of the IEEE Awards ceremony and travel to other IEEE meetings and events. Loosely based on the permanent installation at the IEEE Operations Center in New Jersey, the Wall incorporates an interactive touchscreen display offering biographies of the winners from the ETHW and videos of past award ceremonies.
